Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within a hospital setting. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. • Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. • Prepare patients for X-ray procedures and assist with imaging as needed. • Provide basic support when necessary and respond to patient emergencies. • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical coding. • Support hospital medicine practices by coordinating patient care activities. • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. • Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and handling insurance documentation. Requirements • Experience in coding and familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. • Previous experience in a hospital environment is highly desirable. • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
