2+ years technical experience with strong SQL, low-code tooling, scripting skills, experience in healthcare operations, and ability to optimize workflows through automation.
About the Role: As a Product Operations Manager, you are the glue that ties product, operations, customer success, analytics, and finance together. You will actively partner with these teams to maximize impact on KPIs. You’ll own instrumentation, process design, internal tooling, and the delivery of automation (in partnership with EPD) to improve throughput, quality, and predictability in your product. You understand the critical path for production delivery with Medallion better than anyone else and quantify every aspect of this journey. You bring this understanding to others through detailed metrics and reporting and use existing tools and ad hoc scripting to address any gaps and bottlenecks. This role reports to the Head of Product Operations and base compensation may land between $130,000-$170,000. In addition to base salary, Medallion offers equity, and benefits as part of the total compensation package. Responsibilities: Ops Analytics & Health Monitoring: Define and operationalize KPIs/SLOs/SLAs for your product area with leadership. Build and maintain performance dashboards; establish alerting and weekly health reviews for core workflows. Process Management: Ensure that everything on the critical path of providing customer value is instrumented and measured. Design and maintain the necessary insights into this data. Monitor, identify, and surface notable findings. Prototyping and Automation: Translate processes into automation specifications; perform vendor‑evaluations and prototype internal automations; measure ROI and operational impact. Capacity & Forecast Support: Partner with Analytics, Ops, and Finance to improve forecasting inputs and capacity visibility; support scenario planning for volume spikes. Product Success: Partner with Product Managers to roll out new features, collect feedback, and run experiments. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in a technical role (product ops, software engineering, data, technical solutions, etc.) A data wrangler with a drive to quantify complex situations and interactions with strong SQL skills Built internal tooling with low-code platforms like Retool / Airtable / Zapier / etc. A technical puzzler who enjoys using tools and technology to optimize workflows, familiarity with scripting and AI-assisted coding. A great listener who is able to talk to a variety of different people to uncover unmet needs and opportunities Experience with internal operations teams, especially in healthcare (licensing, credentialling, payer enrollment.) Experience evaluating automation methods through product features or vendor implementation. Curious and creative to take processes to the next level running through barriers in the way.
