Job Title: Customer Service/Sales Associate Location: Mettawa, IL Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Customer Service Manager About Us: Med-Vet International is a leading distributor of animal pharmaceuticals dedicated to providing high-quality products and services to veterinary professionals, clinics, and distribution partners. With a commitment to operational excellence and regulatory compliance, we ensure the safe and timely distribution of critical medications across the supply chain. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Customer Service/Sales Associate to play a critical role in driving business growth by managing inbound sales calls, ensuring positive customer experience and meeting sales, profit and customer service targets. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service/inside sales. Key Responsibilities: • Order fulfillment · Prepare shipping documents – domestic and international · Handle international shipping related matters that arise. • Customer Service · Work with customers and vendors as needed · Process payments and refunds accordingly. · Provide any necessary custom clearance requests. • Sales Support · Work with and support sales reps as needed to place order items • Industry trade shows, conferences and training courses · Venue related matters · Draft contracts for instructors · Internal and external communication with employes, attendees and industry partners • Other office functions as necessary • Cross-train and support for related companies Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • 3+ years of customer service/inside sales experience • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities. • Proficient in customer service software and CRM platforms • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
