To support this rapid expansion, they’re seeking a hands-on IT Lead with deep expertise in Google Workspace administration to optimize, secure, and scale their environment. 🖥️ Job Summary The IT Lead will be a critical leader ensuring seamless daily operations while shaping IT strategy. The #1 priority of this role is to manage and evolve the Google Workspace environment, ensuring security, compliance, and usability for a large and growing user base. Beyond Workspace, the IT Lead will also strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture, deliver exceptional end-user support, and guide IT projects that keep pace with rapid growth. 🔑 Key Responsibilities 🟢 Google Workspace Administration (Top Priority) • Manage Google Workspace across 1,200+ users, including user provisioning, permissions, and security settings. • Ensure compliance, governance, and best practices within Workspace. • Develop workflows, automation, and integrations to improve efficiency. • Proactively monitor performance, scalability, and adoption. 📊 Strategic IT & Infrastructure Management • Partner with the CIO on IT policies, standards, and strategic direction. • Evaluate and recommend technologies to boost collaboration, productivity, and security. • Address system vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks. 🛡️ Cybersecurity & Compliance • Enforce cybersecurity policies and lead incident response planning. • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability management. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC2, HiTrust, and other standards. 👩 💻 End-User Support & Operations • Oversee IT operations, ensuring high performance for 1,000+ remote staff. • Deliver responsive support for hardware, software, and networking issues. • Create user-friendly training and resources to empower employees. 👥 Team Leadership & Vendor Management • Mentor and lead IT staff, fostering growth and proactive problem-solving. • Oversee IT projects from planning to execution. • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs. 🎓 Required Qualifications • 5–6+ years progressive IT experience, with 2–3+ in leadership. • Extensive experience administering Google Workspace at scale (must-have). • Strong background in cybersecurity and SaaS support environments. • VLAN knowledge and network troubleshooting skills. • Proven success leading distributed/remote teams. • This job can be done remotely; however, some travel to client location will be required (1x per month) • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills. ⭐ Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field. • Experience with automation tools (Apps Script), SIEM, and digital transformation.
