About Us MD Med Spa is a high-quality medical aesthetics and wellness clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care in a clean, welcoming, and professional environment. We are looking for a flexible, dependable, and customer-focused Per Diem Medical Receptionist to support our team on an as-needed basis for staff coverage during the week and occasional Saturdays. This role is ideal for someone with a very open schedule who enjoys variety and can be available with short notice. While hours are not guaranteed, you can expect 2–3 shifts per month, with the possibility of additional hours depending on coverage needs. Responsibilities • Greet and check in patients warmly and professionally • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments (phone and Zocdoc) • Take basic vitals (blood pressure and weight) — training provided • Assist patients with consent forms and required documentation • Create billing records and generate accurate invoices • Maintain cleanliness of the front desk and common spaces • Disinfect high-touch surfaces and support clinic safety standards • Provide general administrative support to medical and management staff • Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA regulations Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • Previous receptionist, front desk, or medical spa experience preferred • Strong communication and customer service skills • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask • Comfortable taking basic vitals (training provided) • Experience with scheduling systems — Zocdoc experience is a plus • Basic familiarity with billing or invoicing • Must be flexible, reliable, and able to work as-needed with varying availability • Ability to work occasional Saturdays Schedule • Per diem / as-needed • No set weekly schedule • Typically 2–3 days per month, with potential for more based on coverage needs • Weekday shifts and some Saturdays • Ideal for candidates with open, adaptable availability Benefits • Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) • Employee discounts on services and products • Training and development opportunities • Supportive and positive team environment Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 – 8.0 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule • On-the-job training Work Location: In person
