Full Description

Title: Senior AWS Web Application Developer Location: Ft. Meade, MD, with the ability to work from home Summary: Our client is seeking an AWS Web Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced web-based applications on AWS. You'll collaborate in a high-impact, security-cleared environment using a suite of AWS services and modern DevOps practices to support mission-focused systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain AWS-based web applications. Create and manage APIs using Amazon API Gateway and Lambda. Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes. Script and automate processes using Python. Design data interfaces across relational and non-relational systems. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or Terraform. Participate in full-stack development efforts (optional but preferred). Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. Required Skills: Must possess an active DoD Top Secret/SCI FS Poly with MPO Customer (IC Green Badge Required) AWS Services: Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway IaC Tools: AWS CDK or Terraform Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes Programming: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred) DevOps: Automated testing and deployment pipelines Desired Skills: Relevant AWS certifications.
