Job Description: • Develop and execute comprehensive business growth strategies for the MID segment, aligned with overall company objectives. • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential partnerships within the specialty care distribution landscape. • Lead the development and implementation of new service offerings, programs, and solutions tailored to the needs of MID clients. • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, existing clients, and prospective partners. • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for differentiation. • Develop compelling business cases, financial models, and presentations to secure internal approvals and external commitments for growth initiatives. • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of growth strategies. • Negotiate and finalize complex business agreements and contracts with new and existing clients. • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business growth, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing strategies. • Represent McKesson Specialty Care Distribution at industry conferences, events, and client meetings. Requirements: • Degree or equivalent experience • Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience • 9+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic growth, or a related commercial role within the healthcare or pharmaceutical distribution industry highly preferred. • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful growth strategies, particularly within integrated delivery networks or health systems. • Proven track record of exceeding sales or growth targets and building strong client relationships. • Deep understanding of the specialty pharmaceutical market, distribution channels, and healthcare economic trends. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software. • Ability to travel about 70%.
