Role Overview: As a Call Center Agent at MCI Careers, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding customer service during daytime hours. Your primary focus will be to handle inbound customer inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and contribute to a positive customer experience that aligns with MCI’s commitment to excellence. What You'll Do: - You will answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing customer questions and concerns. - You will provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies. - You will resolve customer issues by identifying problems and offering appropriate solutions. - You will document customer interactions and maintain detailed records in the company’s CRM system. - You will collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. - You will meet or exceed individual and team performance targets and metrics. - You will participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and customer service techniques. - You will escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role. - Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. - Proficiency in using CRM software and basic computer applications. - Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a tech-enabled or BPO environment. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages. - Familiarity with call center performance metrics and quality assurance processes. - Previous experience with remote or hybrid work settings.
