Position: Orthodontic Regional Operations Manager Role Summary: The Orthodontic Regional Operations Manager oversees Orthodontic practices. The Orthodontic Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability. To include guiding field managers, setting performance objectives, evaluating, and optimizing operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld, and preparing operation and financial reports. This role will be traveling throughout the state of MI in the employee's assigned region. Reporting Lines: The Orthodontic Regional Operations Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations. The Orthodontic Regional Operations Manager will not have any direct reports. Reporting lines and direct reports may change from time to time in line with the requirements of the position. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the operations of multiple offices. • Guide, train, and manage lower-level management and supervisors. • Prepare performance reports for presentation to Senior Management. • Uphold company standards of excellence and service, guaranteeing quality performance. • Act as liaison between business office and assigned offices. • Routinely traveling to assigned offices interacting with managers and team members. • Review financial statements, activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement. • Partner with the Director of Operations to ensure the integrity of collecting all forms of payments in the clinic. Report financial collections daily and review monthly. • Order and distribute office supplies and navigate other operational expenses. • Perform administrative tasks which may include maintaining or overseeing calendars and schedules for staff and patients. • Resolve patient complaints. • Travel between different locations 100% of the time, can include overnight travel. Key Working relationships: As the Regional Operations Manager you will need to develop strong relationships with the following internal parties: • Patients • Doctor’s • Patient Services teams Experience & Qualifications/Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field from accredited four-year college or university preferred. • Three - four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Proven experience as a Regional Manager and/or 5+ years relative experience • Have a valid Driver’s License with no restrictions. • Strong math skills to crunch numbers and keep track of your region's profit. • Ability to motivate others on a team and help them succeed. • Multitasking skills and the ability to tend to multiple problems at a time. • At least three years’ experience delegating tasks to a team. • Problem-solving skills, especially in situations of high stress • Strong knowledge of company policy, goals, and standards • Organizational skills to manage large amounts of information. • Ability to generate a variety of reports and presentations displaying regional performance. • Strong customer service skills in the area of handling disputes and treating stakeholders with care. • Must be able to travel to office locations. Minimum Physical Capabilities: In order to be able to perform normal duties as a Orthodontic Regional Operations Manager, the worker must be able to perform all of the following physical capabilities: • Lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally overhead, floor to waist height • > 15 lbs. to shoulder height occasionally • Forward reaching, fine motor control (hand and arm) • Sitting for up to 30 minutes at a time • Constantly standing and walking. • Occasionally bending and squatting.
