We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled FP&A Systems Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will serve as the key technical resource supporting our Workday Adaptive Planning environment. You will collaborate closely with the FP&A team and other business stakeholders to maintain, optimize, and expand the capabilities of our financial planning system. Your work will be critical in ensuring data integrity, streamlining planning processes, and delivering system-based solutions that enhance financial decision-making. This is a Hybrid position located in either San Jose, CA or Frisco, TX. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis, typically 1 to 6 times a month. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to one of the two locations and are not offering relocation assistance at this time. Job Description: About the role: • Serve as the primary technical contact for the Workday Adaptive Planning platform within the FP&A function. • Provide end-user support and assist with user inquiries and requests • Assist with administration, including configuration, maintenance, and user support primarily Adaptive with limited support for all other modules noted above • Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, reports, and assumptions in Adaptive Planning to meet evolving business needs. • Stay current with updates and new features in Workday Adaptive Planning, recommending and implementing improvements as needed. • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes through system setup, data uploads, and template/report creation. • Partner with FP&A analysts and business users to identify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements. • Collaborate with IT, Accounting, and HR to ensure data integration between Workday Adaptive Planning and source systems (e.g., Workday HCM/Finance) • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and familiarity with OfficeConnect. • Perform regular data validation, reconciliations, and system audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information. • Perform advanced research, analysis, and coordinate testing for both reported issues and new functionality within all modules • Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) within the various modules to provide timely and accurate information to management/stakeholders About You: • At least 5+ years (we’d love more!) of FP&A experience with a strong focus on financial systems (preferably experience with Workday Adaptive Planning) • You possess deep knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes, and understand how systems can drive efficiency and insight. • You’re comfortable translating business needs into technical solutions and are skilled at working cross-functionally with finance, IT, and other stakeholders. • You have a strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving, automation, and process improvement. • You’re highly proficient in Excel and have experience working with large datasets and data integration tools • BA/BS/BBA degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field preferred • Experience with system troubleshooting and problem-solving preferred • Experience with providing user support and training is a plus • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders • Ability to provide advanced research, analysis, and testing of reported issues and/or new functionality • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Work independently and as part of a team • Enjoy learning new technologies and adapting to change • Strong desire to learn and grow in a challenging environment #LI-Hybrid Accommodations: McAfee recognizes and supports its obligation to reasonably accommodate applicants and employees with disabilities.
