Full Description

Role Overview: As the Senior Reporting Analyst, you own reporting responsibilities for multiple stakeholders with a high degree of accuracy. As McAfee is a private company, your role will be key in establishing and maintaining reporting processes for our lenders and private equity sponsors, delivering accurate and timely reporting on a quarterly-basis, and will work closely with our Big 4 auditors. Your ability to develop comprehensive reports with meaningful insights to senior leadership will determine your success in this role. This is a Hybrid position based in Frisco, TX. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis, typically 1-4 days per month. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to this location and are not offering relocation assistance at this time. About the role: • Prepare and maintain financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows, as well as non-GAAP financial metrics • Prepare quarterly external reporting for our lenders and sponsors, while maintaining SEC-ready processes and disclosures • Authors select GAAP statements, footnote disclosures, and Management’s Discussion and Analysis • Work independently with key personnel throughout the organization, including Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, and Big 4 Auditors • Maintain internal reporting deadlines monthly and assists with ad-hoc reporting requests • Proactively assist with identifying and implementing improvements in both manual and IT-dependent reporting processes • Perform reporting benchmarking and provides recommendations for disclosure items • Perform technical research for reporting requirements of unique transactions • Successfully collaborates with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls and provides support on special requests when necessary • Able to prioritize workload based on the current needs of the team • Assist with other ad-hoc reporting projects About you: • At least 5 years (we’d love more!) of progressive accounting experience; CPA is a big plus • Diverse professional background including a combination of private and public experience, prior SEC reporting experience a plus • Experience in technology industry is a plus • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including advanced level Excel (creating and manipulating spreadsheets) • Previous use of Workday and Workiva is a plus • Exceptional analytical capabilities and a data-driven management approach • Strong project management skills and the ability to adapt to and interpret new situations with attention to detail in order to reach the correct conclusions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to draft clear and accurate accounting memos and disclosures in a dynamic, matrixed environment • Strong team player with a positive, professional attitude who is committed to meeting deadlines • High level of integrity, demonstrate absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information • Ability to bring structure to vaguely defined and complex problems, develop pragmatic solutions, and effectively manage execution • Demonstrated leadership skills with a record of increasing responsibility #LI-Hybrid Company Overview McAfee is a leader in personal security for consumers.
