Responsibilities: • Meet with the customer to understand the security needs and develop requirements and test plans. • Identify candidate technologies and evaluate them against the defined requirements. • Become an expert on the system and be able to communicate how the system enables the solution and where it's limitations lie. • Work with internal teams to assess and resolve all privacy, network security, and scalability concerns for the systems. • Write high quality documentation for system standards and operations. • Work hand in hand with installation and administration teams to field the solutions. • Continually re-evaluate the systems to ensure they are still effective and actively assess how new technology developments or changes in the environment may require new solutions. • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on engineering needs and requirements for system performance, installations, and sustainment programs and provide recommended improvements per industry best practices Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (BS) such as Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering with 5+ years of experience. • Hands on experience designing and deploying different systems • System administration experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, and implementing new workstations and system extensions • Reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Abilities: • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time. • Sitting for extended periods of time. • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard. • Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. • Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. • Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. • Identify and understand the speech of another person.
