A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant project experience and advanced proficiency in BIM software. Strong communication and mentoring abilities are essential, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled BIM/VDC Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will provide building information modeling (BIM) services to support a variety of studios, including our fixture design studio. Your expertise will be utilized across multiple project types, collaborating with different teams as needed. What You'll Do Develop, manage, and maintain robust, standardized Revit content libraries and workflows for building and industrial design projects Oversee project models and documentation through all phases, ensuring compliance with standards and facilitating efficient setup, maintenance, and record-keeping Perform regular preventative maintenance, audits, and model health assessments, producing dashboards and reports, and recommending improvements across teams Standardize project content, parameters, and materials; conduct QA reviews including clash detection, visualization design review, model data integrity validation Integrate and coordinate models and data from partners, manufacturers, and third parties to ensure interoperability and resolve potential conflicts within models Provide just-in-time training, FAQ support, and mentorship on modeling best practices, while enabling collaboration, facilitating documentation workflows, and upholding graphic standards Minimum Qualifications Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred Relevant project experience with advanced proficiency in 3D modeling, Revit, and BIM software Expertise in managing project documentation, models, and ensuring adherence to BIM standards Skilled in QA reviews, clash detection, and maintaining 3D model data integrity Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Experience in industrial design modeling is nice to have Strong communication and mentoring abilities regarding modeling best practices Able to read and interpret drawings, plans, contracts, and specifications Benefits 100% Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401k Profit Sharing Paid Holidays, Vacation, Volunteer and Sick Time Off Commuter Benefits Flexible Spending Accounts Company sponsored Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance Professional development stipend Hybrid work stipend, office snacks, and monthly lunches About MBH Architects MBH Architects offers the best of both worlds: the resources of a top-tier firm with the supportive culture of a close-knit team.
