Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Site Supervisor - Construction to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that all aspects of construction work adhere to safety standards, project specifications, and quality benchmarks. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-leading construction management software. Duties • Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work progresses on schedule, within scope, and according to safety regulations. • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and workflow. • Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify project specifications and identify potential issues early. • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other tools to plan schedules, track progress, and manage documentation. • Oversee quality control processes by inspecting work sites regularly, ensuring adherence to safety protocols like OSHA standards, and maintaining high standards of workmanship. • Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, controlling expenses, and assisting with construction estimating and budgeting activities. • Conduct site inspections using tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. • Read and interpret construction contracts and manage contractual obligations effectively throughout the project lifecycle. • Lead supervising teams by assigning tasks clearly, providing guidance on schematics and technical details, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Experience • Proven experience in construction site supervision or management roles within heavy civil or commercial projects. • Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera (P3), HeavyBid or equivalent tools. • Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, managing budgets, and coordinating multiple subcontractors simultaneously. • Strong background in blueprint reading, construction estimating, quality control procedures, and contract administration. • Supervising experience with a focus on safety compliance per OSHA standards is essential. • Hands-on experience working directly on construction sites with familiarity in schematics interpretation and electrical testing using tools like ohmmeters. • Excellent management skills combined with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards.
