The Application Analyst will implement and support image processing systems used in clinical Radiology. Responsibilities include system maintenance, problem-solving support, and participating in the IT Change Management process.
Candidates should have experience supporting vended applications in a clinical environment with high uptime demands. Strong analytical skills and customer service abilities are essential.
The Radiology Systems Unit is looking for an Application Analyst to join the team that implements and supports a wide variety of image processing systems used directly by the clinical Radiology practice across the Mayo Enterprise. This position will be responsible for Radiology IT tasks such as: Working with a project team to implement vended image processing systems in the Mayo clinical environment. Developing a thorough knowledge of select systems, filling the role of system matter expert on these applications, while implementing system upgrades and configurations. Producing and maintaining documentation such as systems requirements, designs, system relationships, and support models. Performing system maintenance and providing problem solving support on requests from the user community. Participating in the IT Change Management process for testing, communicating, and implementing system updates. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience supporting vended applications in a clinical environment consisting of systems with high demands for uptime and reliability. Successful candidates will have strong analytical skills, strong process orientation, documentation experience, experience with level 3 support, along with skills in customer service. This position includes membership on an on-call rotation providing support to the Radiology systems.
