Full Description

Responsibilities • Be able to stand for the entirety of the shift. • Perform stocking, food preparation, cleaning, and sanitation tasks as needed. • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and departmental requirements. • Consistently follow company policies and procedures in a professional and respectful manner. • Accept and respond positively to feedback. • Arrive on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work. • Work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings. • Restock cookies as needed. • Wear an apron at all times while baking cookies. • Wear the company uniform shirt every day. • Provide a positive, professional customer service experience that is fair, friendly, and courteous. • Resolve customer issues and respond to questions professionally. • Form, cut, mold, shape, and bake cookies as needed. • Monitor cooking times and ensure products meet Maya’s Cookies quality standards. • Bag and box products carefully for customers. • Collect payments via cash or credit card transactions. • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulations. • Ensure all production paperwork is accurate and complete. • Provide feedback and train team members as necessary. • Monitor stock levels for supplies and materials. • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and safety. • Assist with all cleaning duties as outlined in opening and closing checklists. • Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned. • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Team Leader. • Be available to work the following schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday within 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Company DescriptionMaya’s Cookies is a woman-owned, local bakery dedicated to creating delicious, high-quality vegan cookies made with love.
