Full Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: ● Oversee daily production and pipeline; ensure client delivery SLAs are met ● Responsible for loan review escalations from clients and team ● Review and respond to questions and requests from clients ● Provide real time feedback pertaining to errors and determining corrective actions ● Provide procedures, prepare job aids, and address issues that may hinder accuracy, timeliness/deadlines ● Identify trends of errors and escalate to management ● Responsive to internal and external customers' needs in a timely, accurate and professional manner ● Assists with loan review system testing and enhancement, if needed ● Acts as a SME on credit reviews, assisting with problem solving, issue resolution and loan review guidance ● Maintains a high level of confidentiality to protect privacy rights ● Provides coaching, training, and development to staff to ensure goals and KPIs are met ● Provide guidance on daily matters, such as, questions regarding Underwriting Guidelines and SOPs ● May perform Credit QC reviews on loans in the pipeline, as needed ● May perform any other job-related duties requested by management SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise the team designated for a specific client Responsible for the audits and training from the examination of loan reviews completed by team. Provide real time feedback pertaining to errors and determining corrective actions. Participates in the recruiting, interviewing, and training of new staff. Oversees the daily workflow of the department. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. SKILLS & ABILITIES: ● Ability to communicate effectively with clients, and other external parties. ● Strong knowledge of underwriting and ability to review using different sets of guidelines. ● Knowledge of USPAP standards, supplemental valuation products and reconciliation. ● Ability to produce underwriting reports, analyze results, identify issues, and take corrective actions. ● Strong leadership skills with the ability and experience to manage people. ● Effectiveness as a team player. ● Ability to produce quality work and solve problems strategically. ● Strong analytical and organizational skills. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: ● Minimum 5 years mortgage underwriting or quality control within the origination or due diligence space. ● Minimum 2+ years supervisory experience. ● Experience in second level reviews and escalations ● Computer Skills: Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). ● Previous experience with LauraMac WHAT WE OFFER YOU An opportunity to be a key part of an agile team of thinkers and doers collaborating to change a multi-trillion-dollar industry.
