Role Overview: As a Customer Service Representative in Healthcare, you will be the frontline support for clients seeking assistance with healthcare-related inquiries. Your role is essential in ensuring a positive experience by providing accurate information, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a compassionate approach. What You'll Do: - You will respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and in-person. - You will assist clients in understanding healthcare programs and services offered. - You will document and track customer interactions accurately in the system. - You will resolve customer issues by identifying problems and providing appropriate solutions. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to facilitate service delivery. - You will maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations and policies. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay updated on healthcare programs and customer service best practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare or related fields. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. - Basic computer skills including data entry and familiarity with customer management systems. - High school diploma or equivalent required. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a healthcare environment or with government health programs. - Bilingual skills, especially Spanish-English proficiency. - Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. - Previous experience with CRM software.
