Job Title: Warehouse Selector FLSA/Grade: Non-Exempt/Hourly Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Department: Warehouse Job Summary As a Warehouse Selector, you will accurately pull and prepare customer orders from a variety of warehouse zones, including freezer, cooler, and dry storage, using equipment like Electric Pallet Jack or forklifts. You’re accountable to the Warehouse Manager and collaborate with the team to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities • Review pick sheets or use scanning/voice-directed systems to locate and select products. • Load selected items onto pallets using Electric Pallet Jack or forklift; ensure neat, stable stacking. • Label pallets clearly (route and batch numbers), with visible tags on the outside. • Wrap and transport pallets to staging or loading docks safely. • Report any order variances or product discrepancies to supervision. • Maintain a clean, safe work area by managing debris and managing packaging waste. • Meet daily and weekly productivity goals while maintaining accuracy. • Assist with equipment checks and basic maintenance as needed. • Perform other duties assigned by management. Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Using an Electric Pallet Jack • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and operating heavy equipment. • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and basic math aptitude. • Comfortable working across freezer, cooler, and ambient environments. Preferred Qualifications • Experience using Electric Pallet Jack, forklifts, or warehouse management technologies. • Ability to read pick sheets, route numbers, and product labels efficiently. • Prior exposure to voice-directed picking or RF scanning systems.
