The ideal candidate for this role must be located on the West Coast and have experience in the insurance industry. Objective: The Innovation & Solutions Manager leads the design and delivery of scalable solutions that enhance our franchise model and operational performance. Equal parts strategist and builder, this business-led role identifies emerging technologies, streamlines processes, and translates operational needs into impactful tools rather than a helpdesk or support function. The ideal candidate is energized by white space, passionate about driving efficiency through innovation, and confident in guiding the adoption of new products from concept to execution. What You’ll Do: Innovation Strategy & Leadership • Build and own the Mavrix innovation roadmap, aligned with enterprise goals. • Monitor industry and adjacent-market trends to identify emerging opportunities and risks. • Partner with executive leadership to incubate and scale initiatives that differentiate the Mavrix experience for franchisees and clients. Technology & Integration • Act as a business analyst and innovation liaison, translating operational needs into scalable tech solutions. • Identify, vet, and recommend AI-driven tools, automation platforms, and insurtech offerings that drive efficiency and growth. • Stay current on tech trends in insurance distribution and proactively bring forward relevant, actionable innovations. Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives • Lead cross-functional initiatives, including shared services and go-to-market pilots. • Champion a test-and-learn culture by rapidly prototyping and iterating on new ideas. • Drive collaboration across teams to ensure initiatives are goal-oriented, well-resourced, and measurable. Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000. The offer will depend on the geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Operations, or a related field. An advanced degree or coursework in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, or Product Strategy is a plus. • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in strategy, innovation, operations, or product roles—with at least three (3) years in an insurance brokerage or distribution environment. • Working knowledge of SaaS integrations, API-based tools, and AI/automation technologies in insurance is strongly preferred. • Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives, acting as the business-side lead for technology rollouts or platform adoption. • Comfortable serving as a business analyst or product owner in cross-functional environments. • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Self-directed with a high degree of integrity and curiosity. • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools.
