Our company Mavo Atelier is a Portuguese furniture design and manufacturing brand committed to delivering unrivaled quality and tailored customer service. We design, develop, and sell extraordinary designs that allow our customers to express their unique identity, whether in residential, commercial, or public spaces. Area Manager / Brand Representative We are recruiting an Area Manager / Brand Representative based in New York to integrate our company. The main goal of this position is to develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to attract and retain customers in the USA market. The candidate must also be passionate about the furniture and interior design industry, working as a brand ambassador, actively promoting our brand. Main Responsibilities • Develop and execute sales strategies for new business development and client retention within the assigned territory; • Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with leading A+D, commercial, hospitality, and residential firms; • Convert quotes into orders, handling related payments, and work on the order details and specifications by the designer; • Maintain, monitor, and follow up on quotes, orders, and order status through completion, providing clear and timely communication to all relevant parties; • Stay current on product knowledge and other general information of interest to clients; • Meet and exceed sales targets to drive revenue growth; • Maintaining and updating the company’s CRM system with a directory of contacts; • Track industry events and ensure our presence at key events. Qualifications and skills • Fluent in English; • Previous experience in business development, sales, and/or marketing. • Professional background preferred: Interior Design / Architecture / Design / Art; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines; • Creative mindset with an appreciation for luxury branding and design; • A self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to take ownership of sales/marketing activities from day one; • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team; • Availability for occasional travel.
