What You'll Do: - You will design, configure, and troubleshoot complex network systems to meet client requirements. - You will monitor network performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new technologies and upgrades. - You will provide technical support and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime. - You will document network configurations, processes, and changes for future reference. - You will assist in developing network security protocols to protect client data and infrastructure. - You will participate in network capacity planning and scalability assessments. - You will stay updated with the latest networking trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a related IT field. - Proficiency with network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. - Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPN technologies. - Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team. - Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with cloud networking platforms like AWS or Azure. - Familiarity with network automation and scripting languages such as Python. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards. - Previous experience in a client-facing role or IT consulting.
