JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Financial Analyst will work on a team with financial analysts and consultants to deliver specific needs required to support client engagements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare reports for use during client financial meetings. • Analyze current and past trends of key performance indicators, highlighting issues and causes of unexpected variances. • Identify and propose new ways to improve an organization’s efficiency as well as advise organizations how to be more profitable through reduced costs and increased revenues. • Communicate findings to internal team members and clients. • Attend and participate in client meetings with consultants. • Develop understanding of Maven client industries with a goal of adding value to client engagements. • Division of responsibilities will vary by engagement and service. • Design, build, and maintain standardized financial model templates to be used across client engagements, including forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, cash flow modeling, and KPI dashboards. • Develop specialized models for internal firm areas including sales demos and marketing deliverables. • Ensure models follow internal standards for clarity and error minimization • Review and refine financial models prepared by other team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to firm-wide modeling standards. • Train consultants and analysts on model structure, logic, interpretation, and best practices.Provide ongoing support and coaching to improve modeling capacity across the team. • Create model usage guides, reference documentation, and short instructional training modules. • Partner with the team to identify recurring needs and opportunities to enhance or expand the firm’s suite of financial models and reporting tools. • Collaborate with leadership to shape the firm’s product offering, ensuring templates evolve with industry standards and client expectations. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • 3+ years experience in an excel modeling capacity. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • Detail oriented and organized. • Excellent Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills required. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and substantial self-initiative to thrive in a fast- paced, collaborative environment. • Strong project and time management skills.
