Job Details: The Manager, Social Media Community helps push messages through private label social channels. This position is responsible for creating a social strategy and a community management strategy. This role develops creative social campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, consideration and loyalty on channels like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn. The role also identifies and implements process improvements and strategies to enhance the overall private brand social experience. Essential Responsibilities • Develop and manage a best-in-class multi-brand, multi-channel social strategy that aligns with private brand strategy, using an “always-on” and episodic campaign approach to address cross-functional business needs. • Create social strategies and tactics for integrated marketing campaigns. • Drive the creation of compelling, thumb-stopping "social-first" content that increases engagement with target audiences, managing internal and external agency partnerships. • Develop a community management strategy to foster engagement and build community across multiple channels. • Oversee brand voice and daily content across social media channels to ensure consistent messaging and visual accuracy. • Maintain multi-channel social editorial calendar. Work with team and cross-functional partners to create content for multiple social mediums and audiences, including corporate channels, employee advocacy programs and executive thought leadership opportunities. • Optimize performance of social posts and campaigns for awareness. • Identify new testing opportunities to drive awareness and consideration. • Serve as an internal subject matter expert that provides ongoing training for employees on social media best practices. • Identify and implement process improvements and strategies to enhance the overall private brand social experience. • Participate in internal editorial meetings as the voice of private brand social, sharing data insights and content learnings. • Develop and distribute social reporting, highlighting key KPIs, campaign performance and sentiment. • Maintain relationships and regular check-ins with platform partners to identify opportunities and new solutions for all brands. • Research and stay up-to-date on new social media trends, platforms and tools, providing recommendations for incorporation into the current strategy. • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date. • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all. • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts. • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation. • Communicates any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and Company operations. Education • Bachelor's Degree Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline is required. Professional Experience • 5+ years experience in brand social community management (brand or retail experience preferred) required. • Experience in social content development and social responding/customer care management required. • Crisis communication experience preferred. • Conflict resolution experience preferred. Skills List • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing, editing and crafting content for the social media and digital channels. • Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail. • Detail-oriented and strategic thinker. • Well-organized with excellent time management; able to multitask and handle multiple priorities. • Adaptable, resourceful, and able to overcome challenges. • Ability to work cross-functionally with agency partners, co-workers and vendor partner. • Strong cross functional collaborator, quick learner and problem solver. Knowledge • General knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X and TikTok. • Knowledge of retail industry. • Working knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing and executing social media initiatives. • Microsoft Office Products. Scope • Works is accomplished with moderate supervision. Follows established and detailed directions.
