Schedule: Nights, 22:30-6:30, Tue-Sat Building Maintenance Technician Job Description for Matrix Logistics Reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This position may include all three-shift seven days a week to support facility operations. Individual must be available for flexible shifts including weekends, on call may be a possibility, willing to work some overtime and holidays. Responsibilities of this individual may include: · Support Operations departments, Battery changer coverage and other duties as required. · Repair and PM work of building equipment including HVAC units, Fire safety equipment, conveyor systems, pallet dispensers, lighting, garbage compacting equipment, high speed doors, emergency generators, plumbing, etc. · Repair of other equipment including overhead doors, dock plates, trailer restrains, battery change equipment, racking · Support CMMS, BMS and associated Maintenance processes. · Support and develop our partnerships with contractors. · Promoting and supporting Matrix values and goals. · Commitment to promoting Health and Safety in a team environment. · Willing to accept new ideas and adapt to a changing environment. Skills: · Strong Electrical and Mechanical skills and proved previous experience · Electrical license in asset · Basic PC skills, email, Microsoft Office, and maintenance inventory control. · Blueprint interpretation, including; electrical, mechanical, and structural. · Strong troubleshooting skills with some PLC experience. · Basic welding skills · Must be able to be trained for driving all kind of machines using in the facility · Good communication skills • Must have own tools • Must own and drive a reliable vehicle Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.53 per hour Language: • English (required) Work Location: In person
