Technical Business Analyst Jersey City | New York City 18 Month W2 Contract Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote $60-$68/hour Seeking a strong Technical Business Analyst / Developer with a development mindset who can bridge business and technology. The ideal candidate has deep experience working with Python-based systems, strong ETL and data engineering expertise, and a solid background in Basel regulatory reporting. Experience with Alteryx or Trifacta is highly preferred, as current processes are being migrated to a strategic data platform. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and interpret Python code to understand system behavior and translate technical logic into clear business requirements. • Partner with developers and stakeholders to support Basel regulatory reporting initiatives. • Support data ingestion, transformation, and validation workflows within ETL pipelines. • Contribute to the design and enhancement of a strategic Basel capital reporting platform. • Assist in the modernization and migration of legacy reporting systems. Required Skills & Experience • Basel Regulations: Basel III Endgame, FRTB, SA-CCR • Programming & Analysis: • Python (5+ years; ability to read, analyze, and reason through code) • Strong SQL skills (Oracle Exadata preferred) • Data & ETL Tools: • Alteryx and/or Trifacta (strongly preferred) • Solid data analytics and data engineering background • Soft Skills: • Excellent communication skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Project Context • Building a next-generation Basel capital reporting platform • Modernizing, standardizing, and migrating legacy regulatory reporting systems to a strategic architecture
