Job Summary New Beginnings Realty Properties is seeking a Hands-On Renovation Project Manager / Lead Carpenter to manage and actively participate in remodeling projects for our room-rental residential properties throughout Charlotte. This is a working manager role — ideal for someone who enjoys being on site, leading by example, and balancing project oversight with hands-on construction work. You will be responsible for both coordinating projects and completing select tasks to keep renovations moving efficiently. Responsibilities : • Manage residential renovation projects from start to finish • Perform hands-on carpentry and light renovation work as needed • Create and manage scopes of work, schedules, and project timelines • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors • Order materials and ensure timely deliveries • Conduct daily or regular site oversight to ensure quality and safety • Schedule inspections and ensure work meets local building codes • Communicate progress, challenges, and needs to ownership • Ensure units are completed and ready for room-rental occupancy • Step in to resolve issues and keep projects on schedule Skills and Qualifications • Strong experience in residential remodeling and carpentry • Experience managing renovation projects or acting as a lead on job sites • Ability to perform hands-on work (framing, drywall, flooring, trim, repairs, etc.) • Ability to read scopes of work, estimates, and basic plans • Strong organizational and communication skills • Reliable transportation and basic tools Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with rental properties or room-rental housing • Knowledge of Charlotte / NC building codes • Experience working with subcontractors and inspectors Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
