Role Overview: As the Director of Product Development, you will lead the strategy and execution of product initiatives that drive Mastercard’s growth and innovation. What You'll Do: - You will define and execute the product development roadmap aligned with Mastercard’s strategic goals. - You will lead and mentor a high-performing product team to deliver innovative payment solutions. - You will collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure product success. - You will analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities. - You will manage product lifecycle from concept through launch and continuous improvement. - You will drive cross-functional alignment and stakeholder engagement across global teams. - You will ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards in product design. - You will represent Mastercard at industry events and build strong relationships with key partners. What You Bring: - 10+ years of experience in product development, preferably in fintech or payment technology. - Proven track record of leading product teams and delivering successful digital payment products. - Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, digital wallets, and transaction security. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a global, matrixed organization. - Knowledge of emerging technologies such as blockchain, AI, or machine learning in payments. - Prior experience in regulatory compliance and risk management. - Advanced certifications in product management or project management.
