Job Title: Director, Product Development Company Overview: Mastercard is a global leader in payment technology, operating in over 200 countries and territories. Role Overview: As the Director of Product Development, you will lead the strategy and execution of new product initiatives that drive Mastercard’s growth and innovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge payment solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and partners worldwide. What You'll Do: - You will define and drive the product development roadmap aligned with Mastercard’s strategic goals. - You will lead and mentor a high-performing product development team. - You will collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches. - You will analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities. - You will manage product lifecycle from concept through launch and post-launch optimization. - You will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and impact. - You will engage with external partners and stakeholders to foster innovation and strategic alliances. - You will ensure compliance with industry regulations and Mastercard’s security standards. What You Bring: - Minimum 8 years of experience in product development or management, preferably in fintech or payment industries. - Proven track record of leading product teams and delivering successful digital payment products. - Strong understanding of payment technologies, digital wallets, and financial services. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a global, matrixed organization. - Knowledge of emerging technologies such as blockchain, AI, or machine learning in payments. - Experience with agile product development methodologies. - Advanced degree or certifications in product management or related disciplines.
