Role Overview: As the Director of Cybersecurity Business Development for West North America, you will lead a dynamic team focused on expanding Mastercard's cybersecurity offerings. Your role is pivotal in driving strategic partnerships and business growth while ensuring the highest standards of security and innovation. What You'll Do: - You will lead and mentor a high-performing business development team to achieve regional cybersecurity growth targets. - You will develop and execute strategic plans to expand Mastercard’s cybersecurity portfolio in West North America. - You will build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. - You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align cybersecurity solutions with market needs. - You will identify emerging cybersecurity trends and opportunities to inform business strategy. - You will represent Mastercard at industry events and forums to enhance brand presence. - You will manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure business objectives are met. What You Bring: - You bring at least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity business development or related fields. - You have proven leadership skills managing teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. - You possess deep knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements. - You have excellent communication and negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals. - You are adept at strategic thinking and problem-solving with a customer-centric mindset. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within the payments or financial services industry. - Familiarity with Mastercard’s products and cybersecurity initiatives. - Advanced degree in business, cybersecurity, or related disciplines. - Experience managing cross-regional or global teams.
