Full Description

The Sr. Paralegal, Global Ethics and Compliance provides advanced paralegal support to the MasterBrand’s Global Ethics and Compliance team. The Senior Paralegal role requires strong initiative, organizational, project management, and data analytics skills, independent judgment, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position also prepares and handles sensitive and confidential information with an emphasis on maximum discretion. Experience in manufacturing environments or with trade, compliance, or ethics matters is a plus. This is a remote role, with a preference for this person to be located in either Ohio or Indiana for ease of traveling to various site locations. Responsibilities: • Assist with administering, coordinating, and updating MasterBrand’s Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy, and other compliance policies, and training, with an emphasis on data-driven monitoring and trend analysis. • Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of ethics and compliance effectiveness metrics, including the preparation of regular dashboards and reports for MasterBrand’s senior leadership team and the Audit Committee. • Coordinate ethics and compliance investigations. • Support internal compliance audits and work with internal audit by gathering and requesting requested materials and tracking the implementation of recommendations by internal audit. • Assist with third-party due diligence and risk assessments. • Track changes in applicable laws and regulations. • Assist with the preparation, review, and management of ethics and compliance policies and responses to inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies. • Help ensure and track compliance with internal policies and external regulations. • Department-wide project management and/or coordination. • Maintaining and updating internal and external department sites. • Manage and organize documents, files, and databases associated with the Compliance Department. • Assist with a variety of other requests to support the Global Ethics and Compliance department as may arise from time to time. • Draft internal memos, executive summaries, and other correspondence. • Prepare spreadsheets, organizational charts, timelines, presentations, project management tracking. • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. • Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program. • 5+ years of previous experience in a corporate compliance department. • Experience with global operations and multi-jurisdictional compliance matters considered a plus. • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and experience with Outlook and Microsoft Teams. • Ability to maintain confidentiality. • Strong project management skills. • Experience in data analytics and data-driven analysis and monitoring. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Demonstrates strong work ethic, good judgment, and attention to detail Equal Employment Opportunity MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
