About the Role Massive Bio seeks a Business Development Director to accelerate commercial growth of DUO (Drug Utilization Optimizer), an AI-driven oncology platform. DUO helps pharmaceutical companies shorten the path from trial discovery to patient treatment by identifying the right physicians, at the right moment, with real-time, consented patient insights. This is a senior, quota-carrying role focused on building and expanding commercial partnerships with top pharmaceutical companies. This role will structure impactful engagements that demonstrate DUO's value and scale those relationships into multi-franchise agreements, embedding DUO as a Launch Acceleration standard across oncology portfolios. Responsibilities Drive Commercial Growth: Own the full sales cycle for DUO, from prospecting to closure. Deliver Early Engagements: Structure and execute initial commercial programs that prove DUO’s impact, with measurable outcomes such as: Faster time from physician alert to action Increased diagnostic testing rates Higher referral completion Lift in new-to-brand prescriptions (NBRx) Expand Market Footprint: Identify high-priority oncology brands with upcoming launches and craft tailored proposals that align with commercial needs. Engage Senior Stakeholders: Build trusted relationships with Brand Directors, Franchise Heads, Innovation/Digital leaders, and procurement teams. Position DUO Clearly: Demonstrate how real-time, patient-consented data complements pharma’s existing RWD, CRM, and omnichannel investments. Lead Complex Deals: Manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles across medical, commercial, market access, procurement, and legal functions. Scale Partnerships: Grow initial engagements into multi-brand, portfolio-level agreements. Shape Market Offerings: Provide field insights that inform DUO’s Trial→Launch Bridge and Launch Acceleration solutions as they evolve. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; equivalent experience accepted. 5–7 years total experience selling SaaS, analytics, or data solutions, ideally into pharma/biotech or healthcare. Proven record closing mid- to large-scale B2B deals (e.g., $100k+ ACV or multi-year pilots) and meeting quota. Familiarity with oncology or broader life-sciences commercialization (willingness to ramp quickly on biomarker/testing workflows). Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and partnering with procurement and legal to get to signature. Strong executive communication (turn complex concepts into clear value props) and disciplined pipeline management (CRM hygiene, forecasting, next-step control). Preferred Qualifications MBA or relevant master’s a plus. Existing relationships (or demonstrated access) within oncology or specialty brand teams, medical, or commercial innovation groups at pharma/biotech. Exposure to patient-engagement platforms, RWD/RWE, CRM/omnichannel, or launch-acceleration solutions. Experience introducing new solutions (pilots/POCs) and helping scale them within an account. Comfortable operating in a high-growth, ambiguous environment; entrepreneurial mindset.
