Your Role at Delta Faucet The Supply Chain Analyst is a key resource within our high performing New Product Development (NPD) teams that design, develop, and launch products that support strategy, drive innovation, deliver quality improvements and cost reductions. This position reports to Program Management and is an advocate and lead for all supply chain related activities within their respective New Product Development (NPD) team. The Supply Chain Analyst (SCA) actively participates in weekly cross function team meetings, provides communication regarding task and part status, and supports development of NPD business cases. This role seeks to maximize service while minimizing cost and delivering on metric performance and continuous improvement. This requires working with external foreign and domestic suppliers, internal manufacturing locations and various functional areas. Responsibilities • Manages parts from business award through launch to support cross functional team success with on-time, on-budget, 95%+ delivery performance • Achieve shared NPD team goals – launch date, start-up costs, contribution margin, delivery performance, quality, volume • Meet or exceed SC metric performance – on-time delivery, PPAP submissions, costs, etc. • Minimize cost - maintain quoted costs, adhere to purchasing MOQ’s and policies, proactively work to mitigate E&O and air freight • Seek continuous improvement opportunities – metric improvement, reduce cost or cycle time, efficiency gains • Execute material set-up & maintenance in a timely manner with attention to accuracy • Actively manage purchase orders to minimize risk and support service and cost • Issue tooling/PPAP/direct material purchase orders, timely updates to price/quantity/cost, address any payment/invoice discrepancies • Manage suppliers to achieve commitments – delivery dates, pricing, quality, MOQ, etc. • Collaboratively work to problem solve as changes occur to plans • Communicate with internal and external customers – NPD/SC team, operations, vendors • Ability to attend off hour calls with overseas vendors Qualifications • The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor degree preferably in business or related field with 5+ years experience within supply chain and/or new product development; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Experience dealing with complexity of managing many parts/projects/tasks while prioritizing to achieve deadlines is a must. • Drive for results by holding self-accountable and respectfully others. • Ability to quickly learn multiple systems and processes, adapt to changes and deliver results. • Experience working Microsoft Office and SAP a plus. • Potential for occasional travel, including potential for overseas. • Must be able to attend off hour calls with international vendors.
