Demonstrated experience working with executive and senior leadership communications and success working with members of the leadership team in fast-paced situations. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint. Ability to routinely work from the corporate headquarters office in Bethesda, Maryland. _Preferred_ Master's degree, preferably with a concentration in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field Experience in creating and optimizing processes to improve internal communications workflows. Track record of creative problem-solving, including generating new ideas and approaches for internal communications. Experience in the hospitality business Outstanding interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and interact with associates at all levels within the organization and with the general public. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Develops strategic communications plans in support of Marriott’s most high-priority work related to the Growing Forward strategy.  Owns end-to-end development, management, and execution of communications strategy and deliverables for assigned projects and initiatives.  Partners across teams to ensure all internal audiences have awareness, understanding, and adoption of (as necessary) changes related to the assigned projects/initiatives.  Demonstrates strategic expertise across functional business areas and target audiences, contributing to the success of projects/initiatives as a critical member of the project team.  Consistently seeks innovative and creative approaches to communications challenges, thinking outside the box to generate new ideas and solutions. Manages projects timely and as assigned and uses standard processes, templates, tools, and other resources to execute while embracing new technology and platforms.  Develops and implements processes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of internal communications across the organization. Ensures assigned projects/initiatives are rooted in the Growing Forward strategy and enterprise KPIs.
