Full Description

JOB SUMMARY At Marriott, Talent Acquisition is a strategic driver of business success—fueling innovation, enabling growth, and ensuring we attract and retain the best talent in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. This role sits at the intersection of talent strategy, technology, and business transformation. The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Strategy & Process Innovation plays a critical role in evolving our global hiring strategy and shaping the systems and experiences that attract world-class talent. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition Strategy & Process Innovation, this individual will help design, implement, and scale forward-thinking talent acquisition strategies that align with enterprise priorities, elevate the candidate and recruiter experience, and enable efficiency and consistency across regions. This is a highly collaborative role ideal for someone with a consulting mindset, strong project execution skills, and a passion for innovation. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Digital Transformation, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, HR strategy, project management, or business transformation. • Consulting background or experience in a highly matrixed, global environment preferred. • Familiarity with the TA lifecycle, systems (ATS/CRM/AI tools), and industry best practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving process or systems improvements. • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. • Ability to manage projects independently and drive cross-functional collaboration. • Comfort operating in ambiguity with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. • Bias for action, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Global TA Strategy & Innovation • Contribute to the development and execution of global TA strategies informed by workforce planning and business needs. • Support the design and piloting of new tools, frameworks, and programs that enhance hiring quality, recruiter productivity, and scalability. • Collaborate with regional TA teams and global partners to ensure solutions are adaptable and impactful across markets. Process Design & Optimization • Assess and map end-to-end TA processes to identify pain points and drive improvements through simplification, automation, and standardization. • Support the implementation of global process frameworks while balancing the need for regional customization. • Help build documentation, governance models, and best practices that enable sustainable adoption. Technology Strategy & Integration • Partner with HRIS, IT, and vendors to evaluate new technologies, support business case development, and assist with implementations. • Act as a voice of the user, incorporating recruiter, hiring manager, and candidate feedback into system design and decision-making. • Contribute to systems strategy across the TA ecosystem (ATS, CRM, scheduling, interview platforms, etc.). Experience Design & Continuous Improvement • Use user research, journey mapping, and data analytics to understand and improve recruiter and candidate experiences. • Help identify and track key performance indicators to measure solution impact and guide continuous improvement. • Promote a human-centered design approach in the development of TA tools and processes. Cross-Functional Program Execution • Manage or contribute to cross-functional projects that align with broader TA and HR transformation efforts. • Coordinate with change management, communications, and learning teams to support deployment, training, and adoption strategies. • Support leadership presentations, stakeholder updates, and roadmap planning efforts. What This Role Is Not • Not a Recruiting Operations Role: This role does not manage day-to-day hiring activities, candidate pipelines, or regional recruitment delivery. • Not a System Administrator Role: Technical configuration, maintenance, release management, and user support for TA systems are handled by HRIS and IT teams. • Not a Regional Execution Role: The role provides strategic direction and innovation frameworks, but execution is led by local or regional TA teams. Not Limited to One System or Tool: This role looks holistically across the entire TA tech stack and experience journey—it's not tied to managing a single platform (e.g., only the ATS). The salary range for this position is $108,300 to $162,300 annually.
