This role sits within HR Analytics, specifically the Analytics Solutions team. This team seeks to build, deploy, and manage innovative, simplistic, and performant analytics products. This role entails being the in-house expert on user experience design for all HR analytics applications, will consult will stakeholders, HR leadership, COEs, regional/property HR teams to design and deliver user interfaces that become advanced analytics tools. This requires: expertise in prototyping live with stakeholders, outstanding business to technical translation, structured creative thinking, cross-functional collaboration, UX/UI design, and hands-on development of custom applications, including: analytics products, web applications, dashboards, and productized reports. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience · 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources, Information Technology, Engineering, Operations Research, or Math or other quantitative discipline AND 2+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance OR Advanced degree in operations research, applied mathematics, statistics, economics, physics, business analytics, engineering · 1-3 years experience gathering data with SQL required, using tools such as SQL developer. · 1-3 years experience data analysis required, including querying and manipulation of billions of records of data, independently structuring analysis and synthesizing large volumes of complex information from multiple sources required · Experience/interest in growing as a user experience (UI/UX) application designer, completed 1+ course in user-centric front-end web development required. · Knowledge/expertise of UI prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Asure, Zeplin, Abstract, or other like product. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, especially in the context of managing processes, technical documentation, and delivering analysis across diverse stakeholder set. · Excellent project management skills required, capable of independently managing and proactively driving completion of multiple projects with different stakeholders. · Excellent organization skills, specifically focused on keeping documentation up to date, organized, and correct, preferrebly using JIRA Cloud toolkit. · Excellent problem solving skills, focused on identifying and implementing the correct long-term solution. · Experience visualizing data in Oracle DV, Oracle APEX, Tableau or PowerBI required, human resources data types preferred · Experience building front end custom web applications a strong plus (Oracle APEX or Visual Builder Studio preferred). · Experience with HTML and CSS, ideally within Oracle toolkit, a strong plus. · Experience manipulating large data sets in Python, R, or SAS is a strong plus · Experience developing analytics products in people-related domains such as marketing, sales, human resources, customer experience, etc. a strong plus · Interest in growing your career in the talent/people analytics space Core Activities Lead Talent Analytics • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gain an understanding of customer needs and business goals, to drive product direction and design solutions that address customer needs. • Scope large-scale analytics projects, breaking them down into distinct bodies of work that are clearly defined and executable by one or more parties • Write, update, and maintain technical requirements. These technical requirements should be able to be easily understood and translated into code by technical resources that are not in attendance at business facing calls. • Develop analytics applications with an eye towards elegant design and a global set of users, with a focus on co-designing with stakeholders and incorporating feedback consistently and in perpetuity. Use mockups or other tools to ensure feedback from appropriate stakeholders. • Design, build, test, and deploy new web application pages, data visualizations, or other tools to support in key HR business processes, with a focus on simplicity, non-technical, and easy to navigate interfaces. • Collaborate with global HR professionals, COE partners, and HR Leadership to define, build, and test the best analytics/technology solution for the end user. Continue to iterate to work towards the best design solution. • Conceptualize, design and build data models and materialized views for use by the broader analytics team, and key analytics HR super users. • Lead governance, and documentation including: ongoing data governance activities, testing plans, technical/ application/ and system documentation, and standardization of methods across all Talent Analytics products. • Explain complex analytics to a broad audience with varying levels of technical background and understanding. This includes both those that are more technical and less technical than this role. • Partners with HR leaders to support their efforts through understanding custom applications, strategic analysis, tracking performance vs. goals, driving process improvements, providing recommendations and insights for future efforts • Design and produce UI/UX recommendations using wireframes, site maps, etc. using Figma or other prototyping tools. • Help define technical standards and calculations for talent analytics and reporting • Conduct deep dive analytics relative to user adoption and behavior and the effectiveness of all Talent Analytics products Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders · Solves business problems using data and analytically based solutions. · Serve as talent analytics partner to Center of Excellence leads, ensuring accurate business requirements are completed prior to technical solutioning. · Identifies creative solutions to complex and challenging analytical problems. • Provides technical expertise and support to persons inside and outside of the department. • Partner with Center of Excellence leads to prioritize work that is impactful while minimizing tech overhead. • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work. • Determines priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to ensure completion of any projects on schedule. • Collaborates with internal partners and stakeholders to support business/initiative strategies. • Communicates concepts in a clear and persuasive manner that is easy to understand. • Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc. • Demonstrates an understanding of business priorities. The pay range for this position is $38.99 to $63.08 per hour.
