This is a temporary position. The Senior Manager, Sales & Catering Product Strategy supports the evolution and execution of Marriott International’s Sales & Catering product capabilities across its global portfolio of brands. This role plays a critical part in shaping the future of group sales, meetings, and catering solutions by translating enterprise strategy into prioritized product initiatives and delivering high impact capabilities at scale. The Senior Manager partners closely with Product, Technology, Global Sales, and the Hotel Operations teams to ensure solutions are customer centric, scalable, and aligned to Marriott’s business objectives across managed and franchised properties. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major 5+ years of relevant professional experience in product management, digital product strategy, or related role. Preferred Experience working on enterprise scale or B2B products, preferably in hospitality, travel, or service based industries. Experience with Sales & Catering, group sales, meetings & events, or hospitality operations. Exposure to cloud based platforms or modernization of legacy systems. Familiarity with data driven decision making, reporting, and product metrics. Experience working in a franchised or multi brand environment. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Product Strategy & Roadmap Execution Support the definition and execution of the Sales & Catering product vision and roadmap, aligned to Marriott’s enterprise and brand strategies. Translate strategic objectives into well defined product initiatives, epics, and features. Contribute to roadmap planning by evaluating customer needs, business priorities, and technical dependencies. Track and report progress, outcomes, and key metrics tied to product initiatives. Product Development & Delivery Own specific product areas or capabilities across the Sales & Catering ecosystem. Partner with engineering and UX teams to deliver high quality, scalable solutions using agile delivery practices. Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Participate in backlog prioritization, release planning, and solution design reviews. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Represent the voice of property level users, including sales leaders, event managers, and catering teams. Gather insights through field engagement, feedback sessions, usability testing, and operational data. Work with brand, regional, and functional stakeholders to understand needs and manage expectations. Communicate product direction, timelines, and changes clearly to stakeholders. Cross Functional Collaboration Partner with Global Sales, Revenue Management, Operations, Marketing, and Loyalty teams to ensure product alignment with end to end business processes. Coordinate with change management and enablement teams to support effective rollout and adoption. Collaborate with platform and architecture teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards. Adoption, Optimization & Scale Support global rollouts of new features and capabilities across managed and franchised hotels. Monitor adoption, performance, and user satisfaction, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Help ensure solutions scale across brands, regions, and property types while addressing operational realities. Leadership & Development May lead or mentor junior product managers or project contributors. Model strong product management practices, customer focus, and accountability. Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the product organization.
