Overview Job Summary: Responsible for providing back-office support in various capacities to the internal & external client team members in accordance with policies, procedures, and quality standards; establish a good working relationship with team members and department contacts to maintain and continuously strive to improve the level of overall service being provided. Continuously strive to improve efficiencies and maintain an expert level in internal and external applications. May also include staff assistance and development of assigned associates as needed. Responsibilities Essential Duties: Essential duties noted below may vary by position and/or client needs. Reporting/Support Functions- Participate in the activities involved in providing quality support and reporting services to assigned internal/external departments (e.g., Operations, Sales, Analytics, etc.) while ensuring adherence to corporate and departmental policies and procedures Monitor data & update sales performance through sales tracking tools and other performance KPI’s Preform various order management functions to include order entry, tracking, cuts, shortages, transportation issues, returns, invoices, etc. effectively engaging with sales, client and customer as needed. Analyze and amend rejections on sales orders to ensure orders are handled correctly and efficiently Manage inventory allocations Gather and analyze data to understand problems and address them proactively Create and prepare sell sheets, presentations, truck builders, trackers, etc. Complete set up of new items, displays, promotions, and execution of price changes Order and manage sample inventory forecasting needs of business; process and fulfill sample requests for sales team; submit display forecasts Management of payments and deductions by researching and validating all claims in accordance with client and company standards and processes; submitting claims for processing; working with finance team as needed Update and maintain internal/external systems with detailed and accurate customer, product, pricing, and sales data Develop, generate, and distribute reporting as needed Document customer/client notes in CRM with concise details timely and accurately Research and resolve issues within scope of responsibility Support the assigned sales team with other administrative tasks as requested Staff Assistance & Development - Provide assistance to associates ensuring adherence to departmental & client policies and procedures.
