Full Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ad Operations & Execution · Partner with agency teams to lead technical execution, ensuring accuracy of account structures, trafficking and tracking templates, parameters, platform setup, website tagging and pixel deployment, QA, troubleshooting, and performance validation · Ensure platform events, conversions, and signals fire correctly and align with expected behavior · Ensure flawless technical execution across digital channels, including programmatic display and video, social, OTT/CTV, and emerging paid platforms · Serve as the primary technical escalation point for diagnosing and resolving tagging issues, signal loss, and platform setup challenges · Lead implementation of modern signal-quality solutions (e.g., CAPI, server-side tagging, enhanced conversions, event deduplication) to mitigate tracking loss Data & Process Governance · Establish, document, and enforce Mariner’s taxonomy, tagging standards, and data hygiene rules · Build and maintain integrations between ad platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to enable accurate end-to-end tracking, including funnel-stage alignment and attribution via hidden fields · Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure all tracking, pixels, and APIs adhere to Mariner’s privacy policy, consent framework, and data minimization principles · Design tagging and tracking architectures that support future MMM, MTA, and incrementality testing frameworks MarTech Infrastructure Management & Implementation · Deploy and manage platform tracking, including pixels, conversions, audiences, and APIs · Partner with IT and Analytics teams to streamline workflows, automate data ingestion, and reduce manual QA · Lead the roadmap for marketing operations enhancements · Own marketing data layer requirements (event definitions, metadata, and naming conventions) and partner with Web and IT teams to implement and maintain a scalable data layer Cross-Functional Partnership & Vendor Management · Provide technical requirements and QA oversight for new landing pages, website updates, and Mariner.com tagging enhancements · Define technical requirements for creative, media, and landing pages to ensure campaigns are built on strong technical foundations · Define marketing data requirements for automation and ingestion, partnering with Enterprise Data Engineering teams to build and maintain data pipelines Training & Documentation · Build and maintain centralized technical documentation, including taxonomies, tagging schemas, data layer guides, QA checklists, troubleshooting playbooks, and governance guidelines · Conduct training sessions for internal teams and agency partners on technical best practices · Pilot new tools and technologies with a focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness Required Education and Experience: · Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field · 8+ years of experience in ad operations, marketing technology, or digital marketing operations · Expertise in ad-serving tools, tag management systems, and marketing automation platforms · Demonstrated understanding of how data moves across systems (e.g., CRM to ad platforms to analytics tools) · Strong understanding of UX/CX best practices for tag implementation, including data layers, GTM, and hidden fields · Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to guide non-technical stakeholders · Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and data quality Preferred Education and Experience: · Experience in financial services, wealth management, or other regulated industries · Certifications in Salesforce, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or similar platforms · Experience supporting analytics teams with MMM/MTA readiness and signal-quality improvements Skills: · Expert understanding of ad operations, including trafficking, tagging, pixel management, conversion tracking, and QA workflows · Deep familiarity with the data flow lifecycle across paid platforms, tag managers, analytics tools, and CRM systems · Technical fluency with platforms such as GTM, GA4, Salesforce (Marketing Cloud and CRM), Meta Pixels, LinkedIn Insight Tags, Google tags, and Microsoft UET tags · Experience implementing or partnering on server-side tagging, conversion APIs, event-based measurement, identity resolution, and marketing data governance · Ability to translate technical complexity into clear, actionable guidance for marketers and agency partners · Strong organizational and documentation skills with the ability to build repeatable, scalable processes · Analytical mindset with comfort diagnosing data discrepancies, signal loss, and performance drop-offs · Clear communicator who can build alignment across technical, creative, and media team Our compensation reflects the cost of talent across multiple US geographic markets. The base pay for this position across all US geographic markets ranges from $120,000.00/year to $170,000.00/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
