Job Summary Inventory Manager needed for a full-time opportunity in the Manchester, CT area. The person will be responsible for tracking all inventory to ensure our company maintains proper inventory levels for products, equipment and supplies as needed. Location: Manchester, Connecticut Job type: Full Time Salary: $18-$36 per hour Work hours: 8:30 am to 5 pm Education: High School Responsibilities: • Regular and predictable onsite attendance is an essential function of this position. • Optimize and manage inventory control procedures. • Compile and analyze inventory levels, develop reports and actions to support 99% on-time delivery to customers. • Schedule, oversee, or personally conduct special and periodic cycle counts. • Ensure warehouse space is used efficiently. • Make certain that the housekeeping of the warehouse area meets with company expectations. • Assist, when necessary, with other production, warehouse and/or inventory related work as required by Supervisor and/or Manager. • Will train to assist technical staff with projects, understand product functionality, and have well rounded product/service knowledge. Qualifications/Skills: This position requires a High School diploma and at least three years experience and/or training in warehousing/inventory control, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be computer literate, have a basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be proficient in mathematics and writing. Must have reliable transportation.
