Manage and grow assigned key wholesale accounts through sales activities, client support, and collaboration with operations to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Requires 1-3 years wholesale experience, business analytics skills, effective communication, and familiarity with major retailers and sales software.
Summary: This role is responsible for managing all sales activities of assigned client accounts, including post-sale stewardship, inventory management, post-sale reporting, revenue retention through a strategic make-good plan and providing excellent client support and management. Essential Responsibilities: • Manage a book of business consisting of existing Marcolin USA Key accounts. Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts by using fact-based selling methods. • Aggressively seek out new business with current accounts. Focus is to expand account product selections in existing lines of business. • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives. • Leverage solution focused sales tools and processes to maximize growth with assigned accounts. • Analyze customer information and business trends using data to expand business opportunities. • Work closely with the Operations team to improve customer satisfaction, forecasting and inventory. • Drives client meetings where necessary, utilize, strategize and exhaust all available information. • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams. • Assist in development and delivery of annual business review at each of your accounts. • Self-starter with the ability to organize and manage own workload • Cultivate strong customer relationships and maintain high level of customer satisfaction with assigned accounts. • He/she will manage select national accounts in order to deliver cohesive and collaborative programs, promotions, new items and schematic recommendations. Experience & Background: • Bachelor’s Degree • A minimum of 1- 3 years of wholesale experience with relevant industry • Solid business analytics skills (Retail experience preferred) • Communicate effectively orally and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. • Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail • Experience working with major retailers : Costco, Walmart Sam's Club Skills/ Competencies • Ability to follow through on assigned tasks. • Microsoft Office / computer literate. • Business Objects preferred • SAP experience preferred. • EDI experience preferred • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. • Travel up to 1-2 weeks per month
