As a Project Engineer 3, you will be part of a cross-functional engineering organization supporting complex programs and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills that will contribute to successful project execution and business objectives. Job Title: Project Engineer 3 Location: Warren, MI Pay Range: $58.87 - $67.52 per hour What's the Job? • Lead and coordinate engineering projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical requirements, budgets, and timelines. • Develop, monitor, and manage project schedules, budgets, resource plans, project scope, risks, and performance metrics. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, technical subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to define requirements and drive project deliverables. • Prepare and deliver project status updates, presentations, reports, and cost-benefit analyses to leadership and key stakeholders. • Evaluate project feasibility by analyzing technical requirements, resource availability, business needs, and potential risks. • Support product launches, process improvements, and project implementation activities while ensuring adherence to established project management methodologies. • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and successful project outcomes. What's Needed? • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. • 5+ years of experience in project engineering, project management, or technical program management. • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, scope, deliverables, and cross-functional teams. • Strong understanding of engineering principles, project lifecycle management, and risk management methodologies. • Experience utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and related software. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively in a fast-changing environment. • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills. • Proven ability to influence teams and drive project execution across multiple functional groups. • PMP or PMI certification preferred. • Automotive, manufacturing, or product development experience is highly desired.
