Our client, a leading organization in the industrial and engineering sector, is seeking an Application Engineer to join their team. As an Application Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title:Application Engineer Location:Woodlands, TX Pay Range:$100,000 - $125,000 What's the Job? • Administer and maintain business-critical applications and enterprise software systems. • Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability. • Provide tier-2/3 support to end-users, resolving technical issues, and escalating complex problems as needed. • Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Coordinate and execute application updates, patches, and upgrades, including testing in staging environments to minimize downtime. What's Needed? • Experience with engineering document management systems such as FusionLive, Proarc, Aconex, or enterprise document management systems like Documentum, Alfresco, OpenText, M-Files. • Knowledge of engineering tools such as Bentley Systems, AutoDesk is preferred. • Strong expertise querying databases with SQL and automating tasks with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python. • Experience with cloud-based (SaaS) and on-premise business applications. • Relevant application administration certifications are a plus.
