Our client, a leading organization in logistics and distribution, is seeking a Warehouse Associate - Heavy Lifter to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate - Heavy Lifter, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the distribution process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical stamina, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Heavy Lifter Location: Covington, GA Pay Range: $17 Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Monday - Thursday What's the Job? • Processing customer orders by scanning bar codes, labeling boxes, and preparing packages for shipment. • Palletizing products, including scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets. • Re-palletizing products to ensure proper shipment readiness. • Operating dock manifest duties such as scanning completed pallets and running shrink wrap. • Transporting pallets using material handling equipment as needed. What's Needed? • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and business processes. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment. • Ability to read and interpret distribution documents accurately. • Ability to operate material handling equipment and RF scanners. • High school diploma or GED required.
