We pair experienced attorneys with modern software and operational infrastructure to deliver high-quality legal services efficiently and at scale. As part of our continued growth, we are launching a dedicated pro bono practice focused on legal advice for deportation and asylum matters. This role is remote. Active Arizona bar membership is required. Open to full-time or part-time candidates. 👩 💼 The Role The Pro Bono Practice Immigration Attorney will help establish Manifest’s pro bono immigration practice. This attorney will conduct consultations with individuals seeking legal advice for deportation and asylum matters, assess eligibility, and provide clear legal guidance. The role requires strong client-facing skills, sound legal judgment, and the ability to communicate complex legal standards clearly and efficiently. 🔍 What You’ll Do Client consultations Conduct consultations with individuals seeking legal advice related to asylum and deportation matters. Explain eligibility standards, evidentiary requirements, risks, and timelines in clear language. Provide practical recommendations regarding next steps.Manage expectations and communicate decisions with professionalism and clarity. Case evaluation & qualification Provide legal guidance. Conduct risk analysis based on current law and agency guidance. Make informed decisions regarding case acceptance within the pro bono framework. Practice Development Help establish intake criteria and consultation standards. Collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure compliance and quality control. Support the development of structured workflows for the pro bono practice. ✅ Requirements Active membership in good standing with the Arizona Bar (required). Minimum 3+ years of experience practicing immigration law, with extensive asylum and deportation experience. Demonstrated experience handling or advising on these matters. Strong consultation skills and ability to assess cases efficiently and accurately. Working knowledge of evidentiary standards, country conditions analysis, and credibility considerations. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
