Job Title: Mechatronics Engineer Company Overview: Maneva is a pioneering startup founded by an ex-Google Deepmind researcher, dedicated to transforming manufacturing operations through advanced AI technologies. We specialize in delivering AI-driven solutions that enable autonomous factory operations and optimize production efficiency using off-the-shelf hardware and innovative software. Role Overview: As a Mechatronics Engineer at Maneva, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and integrating intelligent mechanical and electronic systems that support our AI-powered manufacturing solutions. Your work will directly contribute to the automation and optimization of factory processes, driving innovation in the manufacturing sector. What You'll Do: - You will design and develop mechatronic systems that integrate mechanical, electronic, and software components. - You will collaborate with AI researchers and software engineers to implement hardware solutions that support AI algorithms. - You will prototype and test new devices and systems to ensure reliability and performance. - You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing mechatronic systems. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing automation technologies. - You will document designs, processes, and test results clearly and thoroughly. - You will participate in cross-functional team meetings to align engineering efforts with company goals. - You will stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform product development. What You Bring: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechatronics or related engineering roles. - Proficiency in CAD software and circuit design tools. - Strong understanding of control systems, sensors, and actuators. - Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with AI or machine learning hardware integration. - Knowledge of robotics and automation systems. - Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industrial IoT. - Advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
