Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator / Forklift Operator / Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This multifaceted role involves operating various machinery, handling materials efficiently, and assembling products to meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with manufacturing equipment, and a commitment to safety and precision. Responsibilities • Operate CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming tools, ensuring precise manufacturing of parts according to technical drawings and specifications. • Manage fabrication processes such as stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses to produce components with high accuracy. • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and Fanuc systems for automated machine control and troubleshooting. • Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage. • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), CAD files, and technical drawings to assemble products accurately. • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards. • Perform assembly tasks on the production line, including welding, fabrication, and packaging of finished goods. • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance. • Support quality control procedures by inspecting parts for defects using standard inspection tools. • Collaborate with team members across manufacturing, fabrication, and warehouse departments to meet production goals efficiently. Skills • Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CAM programming, and CNC programming. • Experience with Fanuc controls, PLC systems, CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar platforms. • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and technical drawings. • Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes such as stamping, welding, fabrication, and tooling. • Ability to operate forklifts safely within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. • Skilled in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. • Knowledge of factory safety protocols, quality control standards, and materials handling procedures. • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and process adjustments. • Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
