Manage recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, HR, payroll, risk management, client communication, and reporting for the branch.
Experience in customer service, recruitment, HR/payroll duties, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to use Microsoft Office and applicant tracking software.
As a Staffing Manager for our Hayward Maleko Branch, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and growth of business for your local Branch. Schedule: The office hours and your schedule are at minimum, 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday thru Friday. If business dictates an appearance or supervision during hours outside the minimum requirements, you are expected to schedule and conduct company business accordingly. Please keep in mind schedules can change and staying after office hours is a strong possibility (when so, it is required) based on client demand and workload. Job Duties: Ø Practice exceptional customer service, constant communication, a good sense of urgency, and supreme organization to match qualified candidates with suitable positions. Ø Seek out, schedule appointments/interviews, and recruit potential employees to fill existing company (client) job openings. Ø Interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and personality traits, to match them with suitable positions. Ø Provide key job/position information to potential applicants to best prepare them for their interview or job start. Ø Present qualified applicants to companies (clients) looking to hire personnel, interview, or follow- up on job orders. Ø Responsible for the completion of onboarding documents, fulfillment of pre-employment screenings, and detailed presentation of our company policies prior to employee start. Ø Perform pre-employment procedures such as background checks and drug screens as needed. Ø File and record necessary information (i.e. Application, I-9, W-4, etc.) in paper form or in computer database(s) by State and Federal standards. Ø HR duties such as: motivate, coach, retain, develop, write-up, and terminate employees based on company policy. Work with Maleko Managers and Client Managers to resolve sensitive employee relation issues. Ø Payroll duties such as: verifying hours worked, collecting and transmitting timecards to payroll department, database payroll entry, and serve as a link between payroll department and employee. Ø Risk Management duties such as: documenting and investigating injuries, critical communication between Maleko’s risk management team and employee/client, and administering light duty programs as directed. Ø Cold calls to potential clients to inform of our services in hopes of growing the business. Ø Provide weekly/monthly reports to Branch Manager as directed. Ø Computer programs to be used in position: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Applicant Tracking Database, Instant Messenger, and Web Browsers. Ø Driving to client locations for company related duties such as dropping off employee paychecks, running office errands, business related client visits, etc. is required. Ø Occasional lifting (10-20lbs) is required. Additional duties may apply as position dictates.
