Full Description

About the Role We’re seeking a highly experienced Consumer Insights Lead to support our Client's emerging business lines (Experiences, Services, Hotels) during a parental leave coverage. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on designing and leading global measurement frameworks, particularly for major events and partnerships (e.g., FIFA World Cup, Olympics). You’ll operate in a fast-moving part of the business, requiring autonomy, adaptability, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. This role partners closely with external research agencies, owning study design, survey development, and translating findings into actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • • Lead end-to-end measurement strategy for global events and sponsorships, including pre/post analysis and longitudinal tracking (brand awareness, sentiment, impact) • Design and evolve tracking frameworks deployed on a recurring cadence (e.g., quarterly, post-event) • Oversee measurement of key global events and partnerships, establishing and maintaining measurement frameworks, monitoring trends over time, and translating findings into clear business implications • Design, coordinate, and execute strategic qualitative and quantitative research projects across a wide range of methodologies, including focus groups, online tools, immersions, ethnographies, and simulated methodologies • Identify and implement innovative research techniques and emerging tools (including AI methods) to address evolving business needs • Balance in-house execution with vendor-managed projects, maintaining quality and rigor across both models • Prepare and present research findings through written reports and presentations in a concise and compelling way to cross-functional teams • Ensure all outputs are actionable, grounded in consumer knowledge, and guided by a broader understanding of business context — inspiring stakeholders to uncover the "so whats" behind every deliverable • Leverage market, competitor, and product information to produce objective insights on market drivers, the competitive environment, and key customer trends • Partner cohesively with the broader Research Leadership Team — synthesizing across business and consumer workstreams to avoid silos and add cross-functional value Qualifications Required: • 10+ years of relevant consumer insights experience with significant expertise in measurement frameworks and longitudinal tracking • • Tech or digital-first company experience strongly preferred • Proven experience building and managing brand trackers / longitudinal measurement programs • Experience working with external research vendors/agencies • Expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies • Familiarity with advanced analytic techniques and emerging research tools, including AI methods • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills — able to distill complex consumer data into clear, compelling narratives that influence senior stakeholders • Ability to plan, manage, and facilitate global research programs • Detail-oriented without sacrificing strategic perspective • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments — able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills Ways of Working • Individual contributor role (no direct reports) • High-autonomy, fast-paced environment • Mix of structured tracking + ad hoc research • Vendor-led execution model • Cross-functional stakeholder exposure (marketing, partnerships, etc.) Preferred: • Degree in research, marketing, or social sciences; MBA a plus • Experience on both the client and supplier/vendor side of research Key Details • Role Type: Contract (W2) • Start Date: June 1, 2026 • End Date: December 31, 2026 (with potential of extension) • Location: Remote (within the US) • Schedule: 40 hours/week, 5 days/week • Pay Rate: $155–$178/hr • H-1B Sponsorship: Not available for this role
