We are currently hiring for the position of Key Account Director – Oncology with one of our esteemed clients, a leading global pharmaceutical company. This is a full-time remote opportunity based out of Virginia and Washington DC About the Company: Our client is one of the largest pioneers in Biosimilars, aiming to have 22 commercialized products by 2030, with 13 novel drugs in development and 4 scheduled for launch in 2025. They are deeply committed to advancing healthcare through innovative biologics and biosimilars, enhancing patient access to high-quality medicines, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Position Summary: Reporting to the Area Director, the Key Account Director (KAD) will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans for product launches and sales. The role involves analyzing sales data to identify growth opportunities and driving business objectives within the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales objectives. • Identify local opportunities and strategies to enhance product positioning. • Engage HCPs in scientific discussions regarding approved indications, efficacy/safety profiles, and treatment protocols. • Build and maintain long-term, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. • Deliver strategic plans and meet sales goals within allocated budgets. Required Experience: • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial roles, including pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases. • Proven expertise in Oncology product sales. • Experience in institutional channel sales, dealing with Hospitals, Government programs, Healthcare Organizations, and UN-accredited institutions. • Ability to manage annual sales targets exceeding USD 5 million. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (MBA/MS preferred). • Strong understanding of Oncology, Biologics, and Biosimilars throughout the product life cycle.
